Further research!!!
My Partner and me decided to have a further look into another killer, The Joker, from The Dark Knight (Batman). We choose the joker as he is a killer who has no limits and will do anything, he cares about nothing or no-one, and will tarinsh anyone who stands in his way. One of the most uncanny details of the character is that Ledger completely disappears into the role, and to a disturbing degree. The make-up is thin and messily applied to his face, but Ledger is still completely unrecognizable. One scene even shows The Joker’s face briefly with no make-up; one still cannot see Ledger somewhere within the character. At least psychologically, it’s as if there is no Ledger there at all - there is only The Joker. And that is truly frightening. As one of the characters say in the film about the joker, 'some people just wanna see the world burn' this says it all about him, which outlines our characters role.
More on the character!!!
For our filming, our killer who is the main character is a young deluded troubled teenager, who solves his problems with violence and pain to others around him. Looking at other killers we decided to study a killer called pennywise, who is a serial killer however is a clown. We choose this particular character as it not only shows a deadly side, but also a humorous side to the filming. However this is just one of two we decide to focus in much detail, another is the killer from scary movie, who relates to our character a great deal, as he is a clumsy killer, who can get angry with little things at times, and doesn't really care about anyone or anything. Scary Movie is now one my favorite comedies. This film gives another word to the spoof/comedy genre. Scary Movie is a 2000 Comedy/Spoof film directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, as part of Wayans Bros. Entertainment. It is an American dark comedy which parodies the horror, slasher, and mystery genres.

Locations !
For our two minute opening to a horror comedy we have decided to use a bedroom, because our opening scene will be showing the killer getting ready, so a bedroom is the most ideal place for this. As it will allow us to use props like mirrors or dressers, and it will fit the scene in an appropriate way. We will be using the bedroom for quite a few scenes, and will only need one more location to complete it.
Most of our filming, is filmed in the bedroom, futhermore we used outside my partners house, to show the time of the day, and was ideal as it shows hte killer leaving his house. We were to use alternatives outside, e.g. the streets of a different area to show what the killer is up to, but decieded to stay around the located area, due to the fact that it is an opening, and we wanted to our characters sort of life.

Reseacrhing Genre !
I have been doing some research on our genre, a horror comedy. I looked into some films based on a similar genre to ours, the main one stood out was scary movie. due to parts of it a similar to our 2 minutes of filming, therefore i choose this to compare.Also, feedback from our questionnaires revealed that this was often stated as a favourite horror comedy film, it is recognized worldwide as a hilarious film with twists in it to amuse and surprise the audience.
A few scence are similar, for example, when the weapons are shown, and what is chosen, and also with the twists. Further more, our killer is very comparable to the one in scary movie, as there are very clumsy and show alot of fustration towards certain things. the contrst is also shown as the killer doesnt really say any dialouge to person to anyone, only on the phone.
We linked this to our filming, as our killer uses related emotions and no dialouge. To give the killer that serious look about him, and works well to when his clumsines comes into the scenes.
The horror part is intended to scare and frighten the viewer or sometimes make them look away.
Michael Myers killed his family as a little boy and was locked in a mental hospital under the care of doctor Loomis for 15 years then he escaped to take revenge on his sister and family and all who stand in his way of succeeding.
Freddy Kruger was a child murderer before he was burned to death by the parents of springwood. Now he comes back in children's nightmares to kill again with a glove with razor on each finger tip to kill in his world of dreams.
The candy man was killed by a group of hooligans for being in love with a rich landowners daughter they sawed of his hand with a rusty saw covered his body with honey and let the bees sting him to death. Now he comes back when any1 says candy man 5 times in the mirror with a hook in place of his hand to take vengeance.
Every 23rd spring, for 23 days, the Creeper comes out to eat. them. From your fear it can smell if you have something it wants. If so, it stalks you, kills you, and eats the part of you it wants. The Creepers is a winged creature that dresses like a man to hide. It regenerates wounds by eating its victims, making it an unstoppable killing machine.
Pennywise is an evil spirit residing deep beneath the town of Derry. This powerful entity takes many forms, but most commonly appears as Pennywise the clown. Appearing as an innocent clown, Pennywise lures children near, and then kills them. Returning every thirty years to the town of Derry, anyone who knows the name of Pennywise is scared to the core.

FILM RATING !!
Me and my partner Courtney Attwood decieded to firsty look at similar film ratings, such as;
* Scary Movie - 18
* Shawn of The Dead - 15
* Lesbian Vampire Killers - 15
But our filming to these Horror Comedies was alot different, and contained no blood, sex, nudity, language or drug use. However it did use alot weaponary use, to attract different types of audiences. So taking this all into account, we decieded to give our film a rating of 15, mainly due to the use of weaponary, We know this we can relay on our judgement as we used the official BBFC website to assist us with this final verdict.

SONGS?!
We have decieded to use a song called 'just havent met you yet' by Michael Buble, as we thought the tune to this song, is a perfect match for what we needed for the very start of our filming, as it gives it a professional look. Through the filming, we do change songs more then once, because there are a few surprises in our opening to a Horror Comedy. Another song used is 'misery business' by Paranorme, again this fitted really well in this part of our opening, and hopefully has improved our video.
Health and safety...
There were a few risks, that were taken into account as we had been filming, but we successfully managed to avoid all risks that could of harmed us.
Risks;
* Deep cut or worse - as we were using, knifes, air guns, glass bottles and numchucks in some off the scences.
* Being ran over - due to using the roads for a little bit of filming.
* Triping on the cerb
* Falling down the stairs.
We carefully applied the weaponary on the bed, floor, and anywhere else it was need, and put them away when we didnt need them in the scenes. We had Courtneys (my partner)mother looking out for us in the road, and would be aware if something was coming. While filming, i was on the cerb a fair abit for one or two shots, so being fully off/on was best to avoid this risk. One shot, is filmed on the stairs, and falling down them, we had to clear the stairs and make sure nothgin was at the bottom off them, enabling us to not injure ourselves when acting and falling down them.
